The auxiliary condenser is normally used automatically in connection with a reactor trip as one of the pressure control systems. At this occasion the auxiliary condenser after a few seconds was deactivated. An erroneous temperature measurement terminated its operation. The operator rectified the error within a couple of minutes. The error was introduced by design work during modifications.
