text in English: Come to Dodewaard on Saturday March 18 and bring a symbol. Walk through Europe for a nuclear free world

background: For Mother Earth organized a “Walk for a nuclear free Europe” from Brussels to Moscow. In March the walkers arrived at Dodewaard and to support them some 150 people joined them there in protest.
This turned out to be the last action at Dodewaard. A year later (in Oct 1996), the operator in a not expected move announced the closure of the plant because of a “lack of  perspective for nuclear power in the Netherlands”. Anti nuclear organized a last party at a farm close to the reactor. A few hundred people celebrated the closure but were prevented from walking to the reactor because of ‘anonymous’ threads by ‘local farmers’. 1981 revisited.
