QUALIFIED MANPOWER AND EQUIPMENT FOR THE NUCLEAR INDUSTRY Recent restructuring or retirement of several suppliers in the nuclear field has made qualified equipment more scarce. Not only is equipment scarcity raising concerns, but the potential shortage of qualified manpower and loss of know-how are also generating worry. The OECD Nuclear Energy Agency (NEA) organised an international workshop to exchange information on the current situation and on the measures taken related to the demand and supply of qualified manpower and equipment. This publication includes the papers presented as well as a record of the discussions held at that meeting. PERSONNEL QUALIFIÉ ET ÉQUIPEMENTS HOMOLOGUÉS POUR L'INDUSTRIE NUCLÉAIRE Plusieurs fournisseurs ayant récemment restructuré leur production ou cessé leurs activités dans le domaine de l'énergie nucléaire, les équipements homologués sont devenus plus rares. Non seulement cette raréfaction est préoccupante, mais la pénurie possible de personnel qualifié et la perte de savoir faire le sont tout autant. L'Agence de l'OCDE pour l'énergie nucléaire (AEN) a organisé une réunion de travail internationale afin d'échanger des informations sur la situation présente et les mesures adoptées en ce qui concerne l'offre et la demande de personnel qualifié et d'équipements homologués. Cette publication comprend les communications présentées ainsi qu'un résumé des débats tenus au cours de cette réunion.
