V O R W O R T Mit dieser Veröffentlichung wird ein Gesamtüberblick über die bisher vom Statistischen Amt der Europäischen Gemeinschaften veröffentlichten Rohstoffstatistiken gegeben. Die Darstellung betrifft einmal historische Reihen ab 1975 der konsolidierten EG-Bilanzen, die Gegenüberstellung detaillierter EG- Bilanzen 1983 und 1975 bzw. 1976 sowie Tabellen über die Entwicklung der Rohstoffimporte 1975 bis 1983. Während in den früheren Veröffentlichungen des SAEG über Rohstoffbilanzen die methodische Beschreibung im Vordergrund stand, wird mit dieser Veröffentlichung erstmals eine analytische Betrachtung des vorliegenden Zahlenmaterials in sehr zusammengefasster Form vermittelt. Ferner werden die seit 1975 zu beobachtenden Entwicklungstendenzen je Rohstoff aufgezeigt. Der hiermit vorgelegte Längerfristige Vergleich machte einige Berichtigungen der Zahlenreihen notwendig. F O R E W O R D This publication gives a general overview of the statistics on raw materials hitherto published by the Statistical Office of the European Communities. It contains historical series of the consolidated EC balance sheets from 1975 onwards, a comparison of detailed EC balance sheets for 1983 and 1975 or 1976 and tables showing raw materials imports from 1975 to 1983. Whereas earlier publications by the SOEC on raw materials balance sheets emphasized the methodological aspects, the present publication breaks new ground in providing a very brief analysis of the figures available. The trends apparent from 1975 onwards are also described for each raw material. Since this involves longer-term comparisons, some adjustments have had to be made to the series. For methodological explanations see the SOEC publication "EC Raw Materials Balance Sheets 1979-1982", January 1985. This publication was compiled by the Iron and Steel Division of EUROSTAT P R E F A C E Cette publication donne un aperçu général des statistiques sur les matières premières publiées à ce jour par l'Office statistique des Communautés européennes. Elle contient les séries historiques des bilans consolidés de la CE à partir de 1975, une confrontation des bilans détaillés de 1983 et 1975 resp. 1976 ainsi que des tableaux sur l'évolution des importations de matières premières de 1975 à 1983. Alors que dans les publications antérieures de l'OSCE sur Les bilans de matières premières, La priorité avait été donnée à la description des méthodes utilisées, nous présentons ici pour La première fois une observation analytique des chiffres disponibles sous une forme très condensée. En outre, Les tendances de L'évolution observées depuis 1975 par matière première sont indiquées. La comparaison à Long terme proposée dans cette publication a imposé quelques réajustements des séries chronologiques.
