From the publication:

This report assesses the possible bearing of the Chernobyl accident on the safety of
nuclear reactors in OECD countries. It discusses analyses of the accident performed in
several countries as well as improvements to the safety of RBMK reactors announced
by the USSR. Several remaining questions are identified. The report compares RBMK
safety features with those of commercial reactors in OECD countries and evaluates a
number of issues raised by the Chernobyl accident.
