Summary This report describes the results of a study to develop a methodology to assess the radiological risks associated with the technologies and methods being studied in the Recyclage van Actiniden en Splijtingsprodukten (RAS) research programme. In the RAS programme research is carried out into high level radioactive waste management strategies based on the separation and transmutation of certain elements in the high level waste. The report essentially comprises three parts.
