Analysis of Particles Collected in Sweden after the Chernobyl Accident.

Abstract:

The report describes the investigations of "hot particles" which were initiated 
and performed at the Environmental Laboratory at SSI one year after the 
Chernobyl accident.
The aim of the study was to gain more and better information about the 
amount, distribution, sizes and composition of the deposited particles.
The report describes how the particles were identified and collected, the 
subsequent preparation of the collected samples and different analyses 
performed.Part of the work has earlier been reported (Ker87, Fal88).
