FOREWORD An Interagency Meeting represented by IAEA/IMO/OECD-NEA/UNEP/UNSCEAR/ UNESCO (IOC) on a data base for a review of the scientific and technical considerations related to the dumping at sea of radioactive waste was held in Vienna from 19 to 23 September 1983. The following request contained in Annex 6 to the report of the 7th Meeting ofContracting Parties to the London Dumping Convention (LDC 7/12) was the basis for the meeting.
