Forwarded for your information is the Final Generic Environmental Impact 
Statement on Handling and Storage of Spent Light Water Power Reactor Fuel.

The final environmental statement was prepared in accordance with the statement 
of general policy and procedure on implementation of the National Environmental 
Policy Act of 1969, as set out in the Commission's regulations 10 CFR Part 51. The 
final environmental statement includes a discussion of problems and objections 
raised by Federal. State, and local agencies or officials and private organizations 
and individuals and the disposition thereof.
