shortages become more apparent to more people, it has changed into a human 
controversy. One in which everyone must become involved.

The Author
Alan Wyatt has been involved in nuclear engineering for fourteen years since his 
early work on the design of the Douglas Point Nuclear Station.
He is currently Chairman of the Public Affairs Committee of the Canadian Nuclear 
Association and has represented that Association at several Commissions of Inquiry 
into nuclear power matters.
As well as being an active member of several professional engineering societies, 
he has an M.A. in Political Science.
The Nuclear Challenge: Understanding The Debate is the result of Alan Wyatt’s 
years of constant involvement at the centre of the nuclear power controversy.
