SAFEGUARDS TECHNICAL DEVELOPMENT

(Progress Report 1967)

1. During the first part of 1967 the work on safeguards technical development
included the following two main subjects, which will be carried further in the
second part of the year:

(A) Development of safeguards technical procedures for specific types of
nuclear facilities (Specific Development);
(B) Development of methods and techniques for physical verification of
nuclear material inventories and operational history of nuclear facilities
(General Development).
