Explanatory Note

Four Model Facility Attachments for LWRs, to cater for four different situations
as under, have been prepared:

(i) Model M-02 (A) for LWR with spent fuel stored less than one year,
without pin exchange;

(ii) Model M-02 (B) for LWR with spent fuel stored less than one year,
with pin exchange;

(iii) Model M-02 (C) for LWR with spent fuel stored for a year or longer,
without pin exchange;

(iv) Model M-02 (D) for LWR with spent fuel stored for a year or longer,
with pin exchange.
