The plant was operated at rated power. One of the position indicators of Main Feedwater Control Valves (MFCV) had problems and MFCV maintained at fully open position. Main feed flowrate increased and caused steam generator level "hi-hi" signal. This signal caused turbine trip and reactor trip. As full safety functions were available, the event is rated at level 0 as per user's manual, Part III, Table II, A1.
