ERF description: During make up of primary coolant system of Unit 1 for start up after refuelling there was contaminated borated water detected in a service corridor floor. The contamiated water leaked out through open draining valves of the make up system.
The total volume of contaminated water was 1,6m3 with activity 7.83 x 10-3 Bq/l.
The leakage occurred due to violation of operational procedures. An on-site impact criterium is not relevant for rating.
Level 0 was upgraded by using of ch. III.5.3 of users' manual of level 1 (violation of an operational procedure and an accumulation of human errors).
