On January 12, 1993 at auxiliary premises 702 a connection point cable was discovered to have caught fire. The cable is a power supply for the connection point used for portable utilizing equipment that is not involved in the basic technological scheme of the NPP. Personnel on duty and a fire brigade extinguished the fire. Operational safety limits and conditons were not violated. There were no casualties.
