ERF description: Ulchin unit 2 was operated at rated power.
Performing periodic test for checking the turbine protection system, operator stopped the emergency lubricant oil pump and auxiliary lubricant oil pump.
Lubricant oil pressure transient arose and reached at the setpoint of turbine trip actuation relay.
Oil of turbine protection circuit discharge caused the turbine trip and reactor trip subsequently.
There was no release of radioactive materials outside the reactor building and no unplanned exposure to employees.
