Beschrijving | kort - The Government has given its approval to a proposal to keep intermediate- level wastes arising from reprocessing foreign spent fuel at Sellafield in the UK. Instead of larger quantities of ILW being return to the country of origin it will now be stored in the UK and smaller quantities of high level waste, containing the same radioactivity, will be returned instead. The new policy is expected to generate up to GBP630 million income for the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority. |
