M-04 (Research Facility Handling Bulk Material of less than 5 ekg Throughput) October 1976 Explanatory Note This model is intended to provide guidance for the preparation of facility attachments for research facilities handling bulk material of less than 5 ekg throughput. Code 1.4. - The description must obviously be formulated according to the actual situation. For example, if only research is done with some types of nuclear materials, whereas other types are used for development or experimental production, this should be reflected in the wording. Code 4. - Corresponding formulations would be necessary in this and other codes also. The column "Material Description Code" must be filled in depending on whether the old or the new version is in use in the country concerned.
