ERF description: On April 27, 1995 at 2.12 a.m. a reactor scram of Unit 2 in NPP Bohunice occurred due to spurious signal of low pressure in primary circuit. Transient and all interlocks took part according to design oxidation of contact of voltage reduction resistor from 220V to 110V for reactor protection relay. After replacement of resistor, assessment of the event, inspection by Nuclear Regulatory Authority and test of the reactor protection system, Unit 2 was started on May 2, 1995. No radioactive release occurred. Report is issued because of very high interest of media. (Press release was issued.)
